- Created a variety of Excel workbooks for scientific analysis of tests run on CPU prototypes
- Workbooks performed the following operations
- Discerned errant data and expelled it
- Organized data by several categories including source, test, frequency, various controlled conditions, and other subsets.
- Determine best and worst case results in organized, easy to understand displayed
- These workbooks processed raw data and would distribute clean data packets for technicians in short order for close to real time analysis (1 to 2 hour processing time)

Dell, Contractor - Data Analyst, Round Rock, Texas (August 2005 - January 2007)
- Processed and analyzed raw data for mining purposes, and created presentations (usually of those analysis in any format requested). This was non-stop production of data and presentations in a high pressure environment.
- Did multiple Access data searches and processing. Aided in updating and cleaning out data from tables that fed Access.
- Created several automated Excel workbooks using macros and VBA programming to automatically process imported data into the workbooks using Excel VBA.
- Created an Excel workbook that did comparative studies of parallel databases to check for anomalies.
- Created and edited a technical newsletter for the staff (100~) providing instruction, updates, and handy tips for Microsoft software apps (Excel and Access). Humorous, in color, with pop culture references to keep info interesting. 5-6 pages, color .pdf on completion.

College Board, Contractor - QA Auditor, Washington, D.C. & Austin, Texas (March 2005 - July 2005)
- Performed statistical analysis of anomalous data yielded after initial scans of SAT tests (hundreds of megs of data), administered around the country, using Excel spreadsheet formulas.
- Constructed various comparator spreadsheet (Excel and Access) used to compare massive amounts of data to verify the data's integrity after it is transferred and manipulated.
- Oversaw & audited College Board's primary tests handler vendor (Pearson Educational Measurements) for compliance to procedures.
- Performed routine audits of test packets sent to Pearson for field test supervisor's compliance to testing procedures and submission of those tests for grading.

Applied Materials, Contractor - Quality Engineering Technician, Austin, Texas (October 2004 - March 2005)
- Defect identification, documentation, affected asset freeze, root cause analysis, corrective action recommendation and implementation, Reviewed all prints, inspection reports and supporting documentation for assemblies being submitted to AMAT for the first time. This required a great deal of deductive ability and abstract reasoning.
- Updated purchase tables with successfully submitted part numbers. Worked closely with others in some rather tense situations at times.
- Performed quality audits of outside suppliers to certify or maintain certification. Great diplomacy was required while telling them of their mistakes and assisting them in making corrections.
- Stayed in constant contact with other team members about suspicious and constantly errant suppliers.

Carlton Bates, Contractor - Quality Engineering Technician, Austin, Texas (April 2004 - October 2004)
- Created Excel workbooks to audit employee performance, time studies, First Pass Yield reports, error compilation, and analysis of those error. QIR's and MIR's were created based on these reports by me for upper management.
- Created Excel Spreadsheet forms with macros to speedup filling out of said forms, increasing overall work proficiency.
- Created Excel databases to 1) store and recall quality procedures, updates, eliminations, 2) track quality documentation, 3) store internal and external first article documentation, with links to .pdf's of those documentations, 4) track employee training and performance.
- Created Excel electronic tooling database for tracking calibrations and condition of tools. Each tool has hyperlinks to Internet sites with tool specs and prints.
- Wrote detailed and procedure manuals to maintain and update each of these databases.
- Converted thousands of paper records into computer records (retrievable with an Excel glossary) for safe, efficient storage and retrieval overseeing 8 employees for this project. Completed project 3 weeks ahead of time.
- Increased the quality department efficiency by well over 500%.

Thermo Electronics, QA Technician, Round Rock, Texas (April 2002 - April 2004)
- Developed an Excel Spreadsheet solution for auditing cumulative First Pass Yield throughout the plant (tracking between 1000 - 2000 parts and 50 employees weekly). Wrote a detailed instruction manual for its use. QIR, MIR and WIR reports based on this data was a normal activity.
- Instrumental in introducing a "culture of quality" to the plant employees, which revamped the method of controlling quality while reducing the value-added burden that quality control often adds.
- Participated in keeping the plant up to ISO 9000 specs.
